Review: Great Book - I can't say enough about these "who was" books. My granddaughter (age 7) loves reading them and learning about great historical figures. I have never seen her so interested in reading! Yes, these books do tell the truth about a subject and the time frame in which they lived. This can be objectionable and/or disheartening to some but these are facts, rather one agrees with them or not! The reality of life is people can achieve greatness! They can also fail on their journey. They can also overcome their mistakes. We have read 3 of these "who was" books so far and I think all of these books inspire young people and open the door for additional discussion between the young reader and an adult. I will be buying more "who was" books.
Review: Education - I donated these wonderful readers to the kids section of our local library. I am excited to know that children will learn about these historical people.

I can't say enough about these "who was" books. My granddaughter (age 7) loves reading them and learning about great historical figures. I have never seen her so interested in reading! Yes, these books do tell the truth about a subject and the time frame in which they lived.
