I bought this for my mother who likes to have fresh coconut daily. It's much faster than the traditional sit down scraper that she has been using. The only reason that I took a star off was because it is a little difficult to get the meat out at the bottom. You really have to turn and maneuver it to get to that area, but not impossible. This easily attached right to the countertop no problem and didn't slide.
