That is a great deal, by the way, as a single pack of their Deluxe M&C commonly sells for around $3.50, at least here in New York City. Plus it's free delivery here with Amazon Prime! How could you beat that deal! Kraft also makes another variety of M&C, a standard version, also in a box, usually a thin narrow box, but it's no comparison to the Deluxe version. The cheese in the Deluxe version comes in an aluminum pouch and is creamy and far better tasting the cheese that comes with their standard M&C, which is in a powdered form. Once you try the Deluxe, you'd never again want their standard powdered cheese M&C. **Q: How long does the cheese sauce last if you can’t use all of it?** A: When I'm counting calories I'll split each box in thirds. I'll weigh out about 70 grams of macaroni, cook and drain. I'll set the cooked macaroni on the scale, cut the corner of the cheese packet and squeeze about 64 grams onto the macaroni. 411 calories. Irrelevant but I'll sprinkle a bit of chipotle pepper on top. The remaining cheese goes in the refrigerator. Just pinched shut if I'm feeling lazy and know I'll use it in the next day or two. Sometimes I'll put it in a mason jar in the frig. Occasionally, I'll heat seal the packet. Either way, I don't worry about it as long as I'm going to eat it in a week or less. If I really wanted to not have to eat it in a long time, I'd seal it, or at least freezer bag it, and put it in the deep freeze. I would expect it to last a long long time that way. Months? Years?
