Yay! No more worries about stuff exploding because the pressure isn't released enough when I take the lid off! Yes, this did happen once. This cooker was big enough even for my 8 lb. pork loin and the meat was as tender as if I'd marinated it in milk for a full day. I mostly cook for a big bunch but even cooking small meals or quinoa and millet were super fun and awesomely simple and fast. I've now cooked almost every dinner this month in the pressure cooker just so I could get good feel for timing my meals to get them on the table.One thing that wasn't clear at first was how to get the exact time I wanted for cooking, so hint: Press and HOLD the Pressure Keeping Time button until it reads the number of minutes you want your food to cook. Keep and eye out as the minutes on the display "go around the horn" really quickly.Second hint: Always make sure the actual cooking pot is in the cooker. Once I almost poured the food in without the pot!
