Unlike other rubber GT2 belts, this one has fiber reinforcement and resists stretching - very similar to the original Gates product. The tooth profile of this belt is identical to Gates and meshes with my toothed idlers perfectly. In the year of constant 3D printing with this belt, I have seen no belt degradation of any sort (no fraying and no cracking). CoreXY builds are especially taxing on timing belts because of their forces, and back and forth bending of the belt as it runs through the pulleys. I run this 3D printer very hard and have had no problems whatsoever.
