Worked great but totally wiped out any FM radio reception in entire house! Replaced with the Mean Well model. Perfect! No effect at all on FM reception. Review: Rock solid power supply - These seem to be much better made than the cheaper 60W black no-name Chinese power supplies. You do need to add a 120V plug on the brown/blue wire to use an outlet. The red/black wires are the 12V output but you need to get the correct +/- orientation for it to work. Don't get the 120V input and 12V output mixed up. It might wreck the power supply but not sure if there is internal protection built in. I didn't want to try. I use these to power SMD 5050 LED strings and have not had one fail in two years. If used for RGB LEDs, try the mini color controllers sold on desertcart. They work great and are inexpensive. Other color controllers are the size of this power supply, offer fewer color options and are more expensive. Also need to attach a plug connector to the red/black wires for the mini controller hookup. So yes it should pass an electrical inspection. **Q: Does this require a fuse inline with the 110VAC? The AC leads would burn up before the breaker would trip it. Suggestions?** A: I'm using mine from a device I plug this into and the device into a wall plug, and then turn it on and off with a wall style switch that is stuck to wall with double sided tape or with a small screw. It has a built in fuse, also when I use this with an extension cord I use one that is meant for Christmas tree lights that also have a built in fuse on the plug. If not using something that provides a fuse on it's own I would recommend adding a in-line 0.75 amp fuse just for safety. Better too much then be sorry later. I've been using this power supply myself for a year or more and never had any problems with it, but still I have it plugged into something that provides a low amperage fuse (2 amp) as compared to a 15 or 20 amp breaker. **Q: Could this be used to power a 12 v booster pump that uses 60 watts?** A: I am using mine to run a 24 watts LED strip. I'm also using an H801 controller between these and the strips so they can be controlled by SmartThings/Alexa. I did have to trim the electrical connectors, since there I needed very little between the controller/transformer/electrical wires. I didn't receive any documentation, which would have been nice, in the package so I just did trial and error to figure out which electrical wire and controller wire would work.
