If your drain is a straight 2 inch pipe the whole way down then this would not work for you. Totally recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great *by O***1 on September 24, 2025* I think the bad reviews are for small drains. That said I’m using this in a 5” basement floor drain that goes straight into the sewer. My washer and utility sink drain into it, and it has no P Trap in the concrete floor. It smelled like the house sewer, stunk up the whole basement and house. Because of the immediate bend in the drain a Sureseal wouldn’t work. I popped this in and it’s been working for weeks without a problem. I’ve been very happy with it. I’ll probably buy a few spares, but it has been holding up to a house of 4 washing clothes, utility sink use, and a 3 Ton AC condensate drain line.
