I was not expecting much but the wrap itself feels well made and the ice pack did stay cold for while. It was good for pain relief for about 10 minutes and then I couldn't really feel the cold for the next 10 minutes but I think that's because my knee is so swollen from my meniscus transplant. I switched it to the other knee after 20 minutes and it actually was still cold, so I'm satisfied with the length of time it lasts. I haven't tried heat yet but I expect similar results, will update this after I get a chance to try that feature.My only gripe is that the ice pack goes into a netting on the inside of the wrap where you slide the ice pack in but the opening is smaller than the width of the pack. I found myself having to fold the icepack in half or thirds to stick it in and then trying to flatten it out once it's inside the net. I can see the netting ripping over time from the sharper ice pack edges catching the netting but overall, I am satisfied with the product at its price point. It definitely beats holding a bag of ice to your body but it's not quite as good as the cryotherapy gel packs they send you home with after surgery.
