I also have some big hands, so the XXL size is the discriminator first sought out. It has to fit my hand before it can be used. This one is available in my size, and it fit without overstretching the knit material or the rubberized palm coating. I haven't had an accident ....yet, so how good they protect is still to be seen. But, so far they fit my hands without too much bulkiness, and provide a positive palm/finger surface for holding objects, while still allowing free movement and dexterity. So far so good.... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They fit snugly but not tightly so they are very comfortable. Most recently I cut my thumb very deeply while using a dematter on my dog. Couldn't figure out where the blood was coming from! Anyway, I have been using these and t hey have worked excellently so far., Understand I have not TRIED to cut through them but they have prevented me from cutting myself while using the dematter. Hopefully they will continue to do so. They fit snugly but not tightly so they are very comfortable. That's important. It doesn't seem like it would make as much difference as it does but the silicon gloves I got to protect my hands in the kitchen don't work well at all as they are loosey-goosey.
