This book will have you prepared for the exam.I have been in the fitness industry for three decades and my advice is to buy this book If you expect to take and pass the exam. The exam itself will set you back 400 USD pass or fail. Use the current version as allot of the material has been updated and correct answers for older editions is incorrect for current certifications. I also recommend the ACSM's Guidelines for Exercise Testing and Prescription Eleventh Edition, ACSM's Fitness Assessment Manual Sixth edition, ACSM's Resources for the Personal Trainer sixth edition, as well as the certification review.
