It's a safety hazard. This thing IS NOT for HIT workout such as insanity! It's like a slip and slide once it gets a few drops of sweat on it. I tried it once and thought maybe it had to break in. Well after spraining my ankle I tried it again today. After having it over 30 days I can't return it. So waste of 95 bucks. I ended up doing most of my cardio off the mat. Wish I could return it. It's a terrible waste of space. I'll buy a shag carpet for 25 bucks that's bigger and won't make me slip around like I'm working out in an ice rink. So disappointed. What a waste of money and mat. Anyway. It doesn't slip on the floor much. There is some Movement. THe biggest concern is if you sweat on it. There will be ZERO traction. It was pretty bad after a few drops of sweat and got worse without increasing sweat. As the workout went on and more sweat got on it it didn't matter. It was already useless by that point.EDIT: I’ve bumped the mat up to 2 stars... for HIIT Workouts, I’ve began to use the side not for use with shoes. Ironically that’s the side that has better traction even with shoes. The shiny side use useless for workouts that cause you to sweat. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is such great bargain that I feel compelled to share *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2017* I rarely write reviews, but this is such great bargain that I feel compelled to share. The cosmetics defect on the mat is a small discoloration caused by the straps. I suspect that it can be removed with a little bit of elbow grease and patience, although I haven't tried it yet. Prior to purchasing I was initially concerned that the straps had left large indentions in the mat, but that was not the case. It is a very large and thick mat, perfect for me working out on the carpet. I highly recommend it if you need a larger mat and are looking for a deal. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked well for me *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2017* I do aerobic on hardwood floors; not so good; I tried snap together foam mats; got blisters on my feet. The Gray Matter mat works well; 72" very good for most aerobic exercises; I am 5'4" and my feet goes off the mat when I do lounges; so I do not do a log of lounges; just kidding.
