This slender volume of only a 110 pages is a great first stop on the journey of learning about Jung's ideas.  The book covers the key points of Jung's writings, comparing and contrasting with both traditional and more contemporary psychoanalytic theory where appropriate.  Anthony Storr also offers critical comments on some of Jung's thinking to provide additional guidance.Storr's writing is crystal clear and he manages to make the writing of a notoriously difficult writer accessible.  You could do far worse than to start here before reading other secondary sources and ultimately the work of Jung, himself.
