It looks very "vintage" and the filaments glow amber when it's lit. The bulb produces light comparable to the same wattage of standard bulbs. I love the way it looks in my retro light fixture. ### ⭐ Base detaches from bulb *by S***A on Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2019* The first bulb I received was difficult to screw into the lamp and burnt out instantly. I thought this was an anomalous flaw. I was sent a replacement, but the same thing happened - the glass started coming loose from the base as I was turning the bulb. I was quick enough to salvage it by gently unscrewing it and using super glue to re-attach the base to the bulb, and now it seems to be working. I just won't purchase this particular bulb again. I shouldn't have use glue and for a bulb at this price, it should arrive in perfect working order. ### ⭐ Disappointed. Was looking forward to adding a fancy bulb to fixture *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 10, 2020* Bulb package in box just as in picture, no padding to keep it from sliding around. As I was removing bulb from box (it was in a moulded plastic sleeve, securely packaged) shards of glass fell out but I couldn’t see where the bulb was damaged. The filament was totally shattered I could see that immediately but the bulb looked good.
