Torque all but the two long bolts of the rear cover to spec. Once rear cover with all rear facing bolts in and torqued to spec, you can install the two long bolts that insert from the bottom. Cover will stay in position if proper torqued correctly. Remove alignment tool and install new rear main seal. Done. Hope I answered your question.
