Thanks!** A: We love our dishmaster and have just installed a new one in our new (old) home built in 1938. The main factor is you must have two holes for your water, 8 inch on center. Ours is wall mount as that is where the pipes come out. They can be adjusted for either wall or counter mount. We have been using a Dishmaster continuously for about 25 years. They last about 10 years but can go longer with rebuild kits. We just don't bother to rebuild. Thanks to superb engineering, replacing the previous Dishmaster with the new arrival took 9 minutes, including the time it took to turn off the water. We wouldn't want to be without one.
