I had ordered a more expensive one that was dull and I returned. Thought I'd give this one a try and in the short time I've had it, it has worked well. I used the smaller julienne blade for slaw and it was too fine. Next time I used the larger julienne blade and it cuts to the texture I wanted. The storage feature looks nice but I don't want to wash all of the blades with each use so they will probably wind up in the junk drawer until needed. A rinse cleans the food residue better than I expected. It seems sharp enough to cut through cabbage and onions. Its size fits in the individual bowl I use so if you're wanting a large unit, this may not be for you. The plastic is lightweight, it is too soon for me to report on how long it will last.
