It is attractive, fits my plants well and is the perfect height for my room. It is a much better way to organize my plants than just leaving them on random tables and bookcases, which can damage wood surfaces over time and leaves a mess to clean up. When I do occasionally spill dirt, it falls through to the floor where I can easily clean it up (though a couple extra inches of clearance at the bottom to actually fit a broom would be nice!) I'm taking off one star for two reasons. First it is sturdy enough, but definitely tips easily when knocked into by kids/ dogs. If you keep it out of the path of moving kids and dogs you'll be fine. Second, the list of parts on my instructions was wrong. Based on the provided count and the instructions to put together individual building units, I was missing several pieces. I proceeded to keep building it based on the step by step visuals and in the end, I actually had a couple of extra pieces I didn't need.
