The braided cord gives it a lot more flexibility and bend-ability than a standard HDMI cable would give you.The picture on screen is nice and clear, but I'm playing simple retro-arcade-style games on it, so it doesn't have to carry a lot of info through it's wires. I've not tried the cables with anything else.This package came with 2 cables, but I only needed one. I guess it is nice to have an extra laying around when you need it though.For the price, and my needs, I'm very happy with this purchase.
