I believe I just need to get them a little wet first?** A: I bought these for my healthy venus fly trap. Fed a few small pieces and within a week, the traps I fed turned black and moldy. Do not feed you venus these worms! **Q: Would these be good for hermit crabs?** A: My hermit crabs love these shrimps. I am sometimes able to hand feed them with these **Q: Do these sink once rehydrated?** A: Well I don't know if they sink I feed them to my koi and they love them they don't last long **Q: What's the average size of the shrimp?** A: They are different sizes but mostly around 3/4 inch probably. Some are smaller some are bigger but, my 7 month old turtles LOVE these!
