Softbills are primarily insectivores which supplement their diets with some fruit - mostly berries. They can and should eat insects, canaries do not and should not. **Q: Does this product contain bread as the Higgins brand does?** A: I am not familiar with the Higgins brand, so I can't speak specifically to the questions, but the main ingrediant is Egg Biscuit (Whole Egg, Wheat Flour and Sugar). I boil and egg and put it in the food processor and add some of the Quiko to make it drier.
