Review: Great sound, poor rust resistance - Sounded great on a 5.7 Ram and the initial quality looked good but after a couple of Minnesota winters it was rusted significantly more than the original exhaust tubing it was welded to, which was about 8 years older than the muffler. The welds for the inlet rusted and cleanly separated from the main body of the muffler while I was driving, leaving me very suddenly with a straight piped truck and exhaust dangling from hangers for the rest of a two hour drive. This Is Your Muffler. *by K***E on November 10, 2020* I've tried 4 different mufflers on my 2012 Ram R/T Express trying to find the one that makes the sound in my head. This Thrush welded is that noise. It's killer! I had it welded in place with the factory tailpipes and it's perfect. No drone or that "clapping" backslap you get with chambered mufflers. No flubby midrange like a straight through acoustical material packed muffler. Just sounds like a hot rod should to me. And for the price, it's really a no-brainer.
