It was our fault--we failed to let her out when she needed it. If you've dealt with this before, you know that one cleaning with a vacuum carpet cleaner (ours is an old Bissell Model 1631 carpet cleaner that they don't make anymore) won't do it. The pee soaks down to the pad, then wicks up later from the wet carpet fibers. It's a little hard to know it this success was because it was my 3rd go at cleaning the area, or the product. Probably a little of both. Previously, I bought another product made for pee stains. It smelled worse than the pee. A strong scent to cover up other scents to me is not fixing the issue. This has a very nice, mild fragrance that went away as the carpet dried.
