Our blue ray player that has Netflix and other apps in our bedroom would stop working and would buffer for long periods of time. So did a roku in another room. They are both connected wirelessly. We have performance internet from xfinity so I knew it had to be the router. I bought this router and modem to solve my streaming issues, and it works great! Netflix and HBO apps take only a half second to load and they're opened. I have a wired connection to my TV in my living room from the router, then everything else is through Wi-Fi. The 5 gHz connection is what really helps. I play games online occasionally too and have had no buffering issues, and internet is as fast as possible. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than expected *by K***H on March 23, 2017* The dual "ac" band is awesome for wireless! Went from a struggling 30-40 MB to a solid 70 MB! Both units connected and worked immediately. Dual band router means we have faster wireless connection on Apple devices and my new Dell laptop. Faster speeds from cable internet supplier are great. Altogether an awesome package. The printer is connected to the USB port on the router. I downloaded the printer controller app from TP-Link and could immediately print from my PC wirelessly. Sadly the app for Mac did not work -it downloaded bit would not unzip so couldn't be installed. Tech support promised to investigate and E-mail me but so far no response -will follow up in a few days.
