This was the closest grenadine to the traditional taste associated with grenadine for mixed drinks and kids drinks, without all the artificial ingredients in Roses Grenadine.Other very good options are: Sonoma Syrups Classic Grenadine No 28; homemade mix of Sonoma Syrups Classic Grenadine No 28 + 1/2 PAMA liqueur (even better); homemade mix 1/2 Sonoma Syrups Pomegranate Simple Syrup No 8 + 1/2 PAMA liqueur (Jeff Beachbum Berry's recipe); and Liber Real Grenadine.Grenadines from B. G. Reynolds and Small Hands were less traditional.

Not much to say. You’ll need it for many specialty cocktails.

I chose Stirrings when looking for "authentic" Grenadine because of a combination of positive reviews and price. I haven't been disappointed in any way with this particular brand of Grenadine but I'm in the process of trying other brands (as well as making my own) to see which I like SUPER best. I will say that if you want some Grenadine that's better than something like Rose's, Stirrings fits the bill. Not too shabby, almost through this bottle, may purchase again.

Fantastic taste of pomegranates in this top notch Grenadine. Will probably make it impossible for you to go back to any other brand :-) I wish I could buy it in a bigger bottle!

Good flavor, but it’s watery compared to other brands I’ve used. Means I must use more to get desired drink flavor, and run out more quickly.

I purchased this and the Liquid Alchemist's Real Grenadine at the same time. Alchemist's is a much stronger slightly less sweet more viscous feeling syrup. I prefer it for Manhattans. The Stirrings product doesn't feel like a syrup, move a flavored sweetened liquid.I might have given it three stars until I shook it. After opening it and tasting it I capped it and shook in hopes that the flavor would strengthen. The cap does not seal! What a pain; sticky juice in lots of places. I check and made sure that it wasn't a problem with tightness and no, it wasn't. The cap doesn't tighten down which means that air will also circulate in and while its in the refrigerator.

I don’t even know if this is grenadine it does not smell or taste right. It was sealed with the paper part over the lid but the seal was popped up on the lid and also had rust around the lid. For whatever reason I am not able to return or replace it. Buyer beware.
