There are so many to choose from these days and it’s so easy to make the wrong choice. This bread knife however has been such a great find. I think I purchased this for under $3 and the thought was either it’ll be serviceable or straight garbage. Luckily, it has been even better than I expected. Out of the box it looks, feels exactly like it cost. Grip is secure but there was some imperfection on the grip. It is super lightweight, which again lends to the “cheap” feel. However when using as directed, this knife has performed flawlessly. It slices through tough, crusty bread. It handles light, delicate pastries. It slices warm bread with ease, without crushing it into a pancake. I can say that I’ve been easily impressed and that it has far out exceeded my expectations. What a great find! As long as you stick to what it’s intended purpose is, then hopefully it’ll exceed others expectations as well.
