This is the New SWM/DECA Band Stop Filter (BSF) from DIRECTV part # (BSFR0-01). This unit will allows you to block competing traffic in the Multi-Room Viewing (MRV). This unit is use for the Directv receiver that are connected with SWM or any other non-green device. This unit is required for for some receivers on a Multi-Room Viewing.

- DirecTV BSFR01-01 Band Stop Filter, To be used in conjunction with DECA System for certain receivers, like the HR20-100, for integration of MRV (Multi Room Viewing) For use with DIRECTV Connected home (BSFR0-01)

    Does what it's supposed to

Life was good until the person next to my apartment got DirecTV. I ended up on their network and started sharing their DVR material, which I did not want to see. Added this simple and cheap band stop filter and my receiver is now isolated. There should be a filter in every apartment but it was easier to quickly solve the problem myself.

Exactly what we needed.  We live in a condo with a DirecTV MDU installation and we were able to see everyone else's listing of recordings as well as watch them.  We put this in line before the receivers and we no longer have to be bothered with everyone elses viewing choices.
