Review: Don't question it. Get them! - I have alot of hardware in my wrist do to a fall. I was told I wouldn't be able to do push ups on my hands. These work awesome. It took some getting used to because of my range of motion and my surgeon approved as long as I keep my wrist straight. They have a perfect little angle and the rubber keeps them from sliding which makes them awesome.
Review: NICE BARS - I've been doing a 100 pushup set, on my chest day, after completion of 12 bench weightlifting sets, which is a great workout, for sure, but wanted to try something different, to see if it could be improved. These are very simple, and well-made. I chose them primarily because of the large rubber grips, which are slanted, both of which make sense to me. I use them on carpet, and there was no slippage at all. When I started, I only did 50 pushups, but have rapidly increased to 100, which is equivalent to about 125 flat floor pushups, I'm told. I space them about a foot apart, using a ruler, in order to reproduce the same distance every time. There is, however, greatly increased discomfort to my hands over standard pushups, even using padded lifting gloves, since I do the entire 100 in one set. This makes sense, however, since your whole body weight is supported by a narrow portion of the palm center, as opposed to the entire hand, including the fingers, flat on the floor, as they are with conventional pushups. I now place a towel over them, which helps a bit. The pain dissipates quickly, though, after completion, so I really don't consider it an impediment. I like them very much, and am glad I bought them, as they'll be a real boon to my chest development, I believe.

I injured my left wrist over a year ago & when I do regular push ups it starts to hurt after 10 reps. So I started using these push up bars and due to the ergonomics, after 10 reps, my left wrist didn't hurt at all. I was able to do more reps and after I was done, no pain whatsoever in my left wrist. I wish I would have known about this sooner. Anyway I highly recommend these for proper push ups.
