The joystick is such a pleasure to use compared to virtually anything from the era. The bottons are a little clicky and hollow to the touch. The joystick has alittle more center and free play than say a sanwa but it is a great deal for the money spent. It does indeed seam to be a zero delay. My opinion would be get this kit if you are looking to put together a cheap but good arcade stick. If you are serious about stick travel buy this kit but switch the stick for a sanwa. If you are building a DIY arcade stick and using the single acrylic case these buttons do fit but the sanwa buttons do not. The sanwa stick can be switched with no problem.
