Review: Very Impressive, Smartly Made Cuppa - This is an excellent temperature control kettle with smart app functionality. Inside the box is the kettle, base and instruction booklets. The kettle is very nicely designed and looks great with its silver steel finish. There is a water level indicator on both sides. Towards the top of the handle is the lid release button so that you can easily fill the kettle. There is a limescale filter inside. The weight of the kettle is nice and light. The base unit is also very well designed. Along the base are a power button, temperature control buttons and a keep warm button. Plugged in and turned on the buttons light up in a nice, clear blue colour to denote your selection. Above the buttons is a blue light that may blink, this is the wireless connection indicator. The kettle swivels nicely when on the base and there are non slip feet underneath. I started off as instructed by wiping around the kettle and then filling the kettle to the maximum water level and boiling it, twice, discarding the water after each boil. The noise level is similar to that of other kettles I have used. I do not find these annoying at all. Boiling time is akin to other kettles I have previously used, again I am bothered by this as its a drink and I am in rush to get it boiled as fast as I can. Everything works great and I can now enjoy the great taste of tea and coffee at the recommended temperature as I once did with a previous kettle like this. Now onto the smart functionality. I installed the Smart Life app, registered and connected it to the kettle via my home WIFI and mobile Bluetooth connection. The app is very good and you can of course start boiling the kettle from here, adjust the required temperature and stop the kettle before it has reached its target if you so wish. The app also displays the current temperature whilst boiling but also after you have finished so you can see how much it has cooled in case you want another quick but cooler cuppa. For parents the app also has a baby bottle temperature built in to use. I then connected the Smart Life app to Google Home on my mobile so that I can use the voice activation with Google Assistant. It can also be used with Alexa and SIRI. Once complete I was able ask Google to boil the kettle, you can specify which temperature for Google to start boiling the kettle at. Very handy or lazy, ha ha depending on your viewpoint but for me if I am at my pc and want a drink as I often am I can now get the kettle going then when it is boiled I receive a notification via the app. Overall I am very impressed with the design and functionality of this kettle. It really is very good and I am going to very much enjoy using it.
Review: No wifi drops, no alexa resyncs needed flawless design - Wow this smart kettle really is the best there is. I previously had the Swan brand but had to return it due to it going bad and refusing to heat all within a few months. So I then went for his one and my god its such a improvement on the previously mentioned. Firstly no more wifi disconnects and stupid barcodes to scan.. I literally joined it to my wifi in seconds and the kettle also uses Bluetooth so in the even we have wifi issues you can still use the kettle with your smart phone via Bluetooth. This is such a life saver and every smart kettle should have this. Since I got this kettle not a single drop in wifi it really is rock solid stable. Then let's talk about the window so you can clearly see how much water is in the kettle! How on the Swan brand they didn't include such a basic feature is beyond me but not here this kettle is amazing and has the water level so its easy to see and the kettle also easily let's you know when not enough water is inside. Now onto buttons and again wow this kettle gets top marks as the water proof big easu to see buttons are on the base vs on the kettle which again was a stupid design on the Swan brand. So when hot and wifi would fail and by God it dropped wifi every other day.. Not an issue on this kettle as the buttons are visible in the dark and are big and easy to use. Now onto the app and syncing up, i use mine via alexa and again it's solid and never drops, have not needed to touch it once since I synced it and the features are great, keep boiled, descale etc all work via alexa. I know it can seem lazy for someone like me who has disabilities and who works from home being able to boil the kettle and keep it warm etc just using voice commands is amazing and once u have a smart kettle you can't do without. Now onto the silver stainless look...i love it and have no issues at all. Do yourself a favour and buy this over any other.. It's reasonably priced and wifi is rock solid and has Bluetooth too.

**Q: Will this save me £10 a year on my electricity bill?**
A: It may add a minuscule fraction to your bill as it’s connected to Wi-Fi…You won’t save money but you won’t spend more than a minute amount more than you already do.

**Q: Is it possible to turn all the lights off or does the blue bar light have to stay on?**
A: The light stays on if you want to use the voice command through internet. Just disconnect the kettle from the internet if you don't want the blue bar light on. You will not then be able to use the Alexa voice command or the smart home app to control the Weeket

**Q: Is the kettle handle cool to touch after boiling water**
A: It sure is just like any other kettle

**Q: Would like an Alexa routine to switch on kettle to defined temperature. Alexa won't recognise the device when asked and only allows up to 32C**
A: A simple answer, yes you can, do this…

1. Go into the Alexa app and begin routine setup for day and time.
2. Add action, from smart home, add kettle and select power ON

5. Type the command “set kettle to (40-100 degrees)”
