Review: OEM Replacement 2006 Mustang GT - Ordered this to replace the fuel filter on my 2006 Mustang GT. The fuel filter is under the car on the drivers side. You have to remove a plastic panel then disconnect the fuel line from both ends of the filter and then slide the filter out of the bracket toward the front of the car. Before you do all that though you will want to remove the fuse for the fuel pump and crank the car over a few times to depressurize the fuel lines. You'll still get some fuel spill from the filter itself but you'll avoid a big mess. It helps to jack the car up a bit on the drivers side to get a bit more room. New filter fit right in and fuel lines connected up perfectly. Don't forget to put the fuse back in place before you start the car back up. Great OEM quality. Recommended.
