The Slim Pen 2 connects magnetically to the bottom of Surface Laptop Studio, and wirelessly charges there. It’s a small area that’s carved out specifically for it, almost directly under the trackpad. The Slim Pen 2 snaps onto that area — and WOW are those magnets STRONG, if Jesse Pinkman saw them he would just go NUTS — and charges/stores it until you need it next. It’s a well thought out feature, and very discreet; I honestly forget it’s there sometimes, lol. That being said, for $35, you CAN buy a charger for the pen. I don’t know why you would — maybe you bought a dozen slim pens for some bizarre reason.
