It's much better in my opinion.I'm from the south and was devastated when I couldn't find Big Red in Nyc. I searched everywhere, told store owners of it, but not many who live here remember it..as I'm told that it was sold here in the 70s.So..it is different enough for me to pay 3x the price in shipping to receive it.*Note: some say that it tastes like bubble gum as another reviewer has stated. It doesn't taste this way to me, but then I never liked the pink bubble gum flavor. I did read that in the main ingredients in their recipe is cream/ vanilla flavor, orange oil and lemon oil..but in no way can you tell that these ingredients are in it on your own. It has it's own flavor. **Q: What state does this ship from ?** A: Depends on which seller you buy from.
