The first time I just added hot water and it tasted like I licked a wet dog. VERY gamey tasting and smelling. I barely got it down. I decided to give it another try and I added the Zhoug sauce from Trader Joe's which is sort of like chimichurri but heavy on the cilantro with a little bit of heat and that did the trick. It took all the gamey funk away.
