A: Yes, each box of CardioChek test strips include 1 Memo chip that will only work with that specific lot # of strips included in the same box.  Once the strips are used up, then the Memo chip can be thrown away.

**Q: What is the Expiration Date?**
A: The test strips expire , and your machine will, not work once expired , look into alternate testing , this devise is a waste of money , difficult to use , wished I handent bought it

**Q: does the trigliceride strips come with a memory chip**
A: Yes, each box of CardioChek test strips include 1 Memo chip that will only work with that specific lot # of strips included in the same box.  Once the strips are used up, then the Memo chip can be thrown away.
