This thing was a breeze to install, directions were very simple and detailed. I was able to run 4 cords behind my wall through the holes of the wall plate. To the user who said the image shows a separate outlet box, I think if you actually look at the picture it is quite obvious this needs to be attached to the top cable box. I actually lost the instructions for installation, but it's so easy they're not necessary. One issue I had is that my walls are too thick for the top cable box with the outlet attached due to the angle at which it attaches. I was able to shave the interior of the wall at a 45 degree angle though and that allowed it to fit nice and snug. I also had a fireblock right between where I wanted to run cabling, so I had to open that up, run my cables and seal it again. Very easy - watch a video on YouTube if you have any concerns. Two negatives - the romex is nice, solid 14 gauge copper. It attaches to the bottom plate which uses braided copper - I prefer solid wires to braided any day, so was disappointed that they didn't use all solid wiring. The other negative - no wire nuts. What the hell?
