The color of the paper turns into a color that is not on the comparison scale which makes impossible to determine a reading. I have measured urine several times and it is always the same giving an alkaline reading but with no possibility to determine a reading. At the same time, I managed to match one of the indicator stripes, but not both, measuring saliva and if I believe the reading it was 6,5. Thus, the discrepancy in saliva/urine + the fact that urine readings are impossible = waste of money, at least in my case. Additionally, I tried measuring my pool's ph and it came up 5.5 (the product says that it is only good for saliva and urine but the heading on amazon includes pools etc). If you believe this, we were swimming in acid. At the same time, I measured my pools ph with a kit that I have been using and it cam up close to 7.8 which means that we actually had to add acid. This is a further indication of the quality of this product. ### ⭐ Do they work? *by R***1 on Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2017* Getting the same reading on several different items. I don't think these strips work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ EXCEPTIONAL customer service!!! *by M***T on Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2015* I have always used the Ph strips in a roll and when I got these I was not sure if I was really going to like them. But as I used them I decided that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM! Additionally, the company Puna is F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C!!!!!!! They have customer service like no other! After you purchase they will email you off and on (over the course of maybe a month or so) to see how you like the product and if you have any issues, questions or concerns. My goodness they are attentive! I think more companies should follow this kind of procedure because it can alleviate issues *immediately*, especially when they are asking if there is anything they can answer or help us with. Sometime people don't tend to call customer service, but actually need to for some reason, and this makes it really easy for them to voice concerns right away. I will ALWAYS refer this wonderful company to all my friends and family.
