I spend way too much time on the computer, and eventually, it hurts my eyes. I remembered long ago people put shields on their desktop screens to reduce glare and wondered if there were glasses that did the same thing since I have a laptop. It turns out there are! I discovered this company on one of those "best brands" searches (which I'm always skeptical of). It was my birthday, the price was right, my curiosity high, resulting in an impulse buy. Much to my surprise, they actually work. I notice a distinct difference looking at a screen with them on; it's less painful to me. I did have to go through an adjustment period, but now I wear them whenever I'm using a device--computer, iPad, phone. My only complaint is that there's occasionally a reflection that hovers on the lenses, which can be distracting, but I've found it often depends on the lighting. Adjusting my angle or location can make it go away, but I tend to just endure and ignore it. This is the only pair I've purchased, so I can't give a fair comparison to other brands.
