You have to tighten the tilt very hard for it to work and it will never be tight enough to lock however tight enough to shoot and stay in the same spot. Love the quick release of the leg extensions. Since the instructions aren’t in the product images I’m including it with my review.This is a very nice little bipod, I was expecting a cheap plastic thing at this price when I ordered it for my kids 22 rifle. Its all machined aluminum and impressive quality.
