It is very rigid when frozen; not as flexible as I wanted/needed. Also, it only lasted a couple days before the plastic tore and leaked. I returned it for a refund. What worked best for me was a homemade ice pack. I used a 1 gallon zip lock bag and filled it with 1 part rubbing alcohol to 3 parts water. I tweaked it to find the right amount to fill a large bag. I enclosed it in a second 1 gallon bag in case it leaked and it was perfect. The alcohol kept the water super cold but flexible, it was kind of a slush. I was hoping for a thicker gel type packets which conform to you anatomy better, I still use it but don't get the results.
