But I really like this float valve. **Q: Would this work in a horse trough?** A: It could work in a horse trough. You'd have to drill a hole in the side to mount the float. There are an adequate amount of threads to fit through the trough, just make sure you have something to cover the unit, or its a guarantee the horses will play with/break it. **Q: Will this fit a bergan autowata automatic watering bowl** A: I have an automatic watering bowl for my chickens that I replaced with this float Valve and it works great, even better than the original. It is pretty small and I would think it will fit most automatic water bowls. **Q: What is the pressure rating of this valve?
