They have to focus so hard on moving the marble through the maze that it takes their attention away from what the meltdown. Some of the students will ask for it when they become anxious. My son is 6 years old, nonverbal moderate to severe autism, sensory seeking. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I Bought the Fidget Marble Maze Mat for My Autisitc Grandchild *by T***Y on April 30, 2019* On the positive side it fascinates him and he uses it quite a bit so it's money well spent as he does not respond to all sensory products. Whether it's the colors or the manipulation of the marble through the maze is unknown as he is uncommunicative. On the negative side, it is as advertised - very small - about the size of a large man's hand.
