I was a little unsure of what to expect when I ordered it, but I shouldn't have worried. A very well sealed cardboard box came in the mail. It was filled with three kinds of moss (each type clearly labeled and nicely organized). I was very happy with the quality of the moss. The moss looked green, but was dry (dormant). The moss perked right up after being misted and having been in the terrariums overnight. I had some moss leftover, and was worried that it would not last the two weeks until I would be able to use it. I shouldn't have worried. I kept the moss in the box it was mailed in, and stored it in a cool dry place, and all was perfectly fine when I came back to it.The moss was very easy to work with and looks quite lovely. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Good quantity and quality *by W***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2014* This package came with a good amount of moss - far more than I was expecting - but not so much that I was overwhelmed. The moss was dry as expected but after following instructions provided, I have a lovely green healthy terrarium! ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Live Ants and Eggs *by E***Y on Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2018* The moss arrived full of live ants. I tried to pick apart the moss to see if I could at least clean the ants off and use portions of the moss, but was only able to salvage a little. I used some insecticide and ant poison bate, but I'm still finding ants in my terrarium now. The moss contained portions of the ant colony with tiny white eggs. Even if I managed to kill the ants, new ones would just continue to hatch. I threw out most of the moss, and now I am wishing I had thrown it all out, or better yet, not bought it at all! I also tried the Tiny Treasure also from Moss Acres, and it was even worse. Two weeks later, I'm still finding new ants crawling out.
