If you have a teenager, or anyone else in your home, that swears you are made of money and loves to leave the lights burning all night throughout your house, these bulbs will save your sanity and your wallet. I was doubtful that these lights would work for me because my hallway has deeply recessed can lights, but these work beautifully. I have had them for over a week. The lights provide bright cheerful stair illumination. Only at night, and only when someone is in the hallway. My only regret is that I did not order enough for my stairwell, and the rest of the hall. This was an excellent purchase. They turn on when we go into the room, and turn off shortly after we leave. No need to fool around with a sensor that has to reside in a light switch box OUTSIDE the room. I conteacted the vendor to give them a chance to react but weeks later still no response.I’m also searching for a version that is not light native and detects and reacts to motion in all light scenarios. Our laundry is very dim in the day but the light won’t come on (understandably). I got no response to that question either.I hate to mention this issue in a review may be the only way to get a positive response.The light ps that work are super bright. We suspected one was over sensitive as it detects movements in rooms close to its location, but it really does switch off if you stand very still or creep up to it in the net room.
