They helped me solve my muddy chicken coop problem. Before I was having to dump put the containers twice a day because the chickens were walking and pooping in the water. Now with these I just set up the water barrel and forget about it. They are very easy to use and easy to keep clean. The chickens were able to figure out how to drink from them quickly. And I'm not having to constantly clean out water containers. Valve has to be held down almost all the way to get any water to fill the bowl. Chickens have used it for 3 days and still can’t get enough water until I Fill it up manually. ### ⭐⭐ Apparently my chickens are stupid. *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2018* These threaded stems are too short to fit SCH-80 (thick-wall) PVC pipes, and the threads are super-weak (strip). 2 of these never flowed any water (human) no matter what I did, and none of my chickens have figured out how to hit the yellow plunger to get their own water 2-weeks later. I have 6-foot of head water, which is 2.6psi, which is right in the recommended sweet-spot. I had to silicone the nut/body through-hole to stop it from leaking.
