Credit card or fishing wire (as suggested by manufacturers) doesn't work.** A: Very unlikely owing to the design of those mechanisms where the catch has a retaining pin to give it the thermal time-delay feature. This very often gets stuck in the 'deployed' position. Washing machine latches are very simple to remove and replace. Take the back off of the machine (or the bottom if you are able to turn it on its side) and on most models you can easily get to it down the side of the drum. It will either have a couple of plastic rivets or bolts and possibly a cable-tie that will also need to go. This will completely release it. Replacements latches are normally less than £10 **Q: What are these made out of?** A: Some type of heavy plastic. It's obviously larger than a c/c but it's sturdy and flexible. **Q: How many sheets do you get and are they different sizes or thicknesses etc?** A: It all depends who the supplier is average six sheets same thickness **Q: Can the sheets bend? Need a 90 degree angle** A: They are different thicknesses so some are more flexible than others.
