The connectors are long lasting and can be fitted together in a variety of configurations to make them non interchangeable with others unless they happen to be configured the same way. Choosing the right wire and deciding whether to crimp or solder is important and assembly is just pushing the connector into the housing. Some sort of tool like an electrical screwdriver is needed to push the connector fully home and then to decide which of the 4 different configurations to use and then feed and load are configured the same way. The only possible risk is that 2 feeds or loads can be connected together with the same ease which can cause problems if 2 feeds of different polarities or voltages are connected together.
