However, I needed to extend our normal DMX control system into additional universes, and this device seemed to fit the bill. One VERY important note, the Universe settings on this device start at ZERO. That means that the first Universe of DMX data will be called 0 on this device, but is likely called Universe 1 on your Lighting Control Software. (I'm going back to get another one) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Llegué todo bien *by V***E on August 27, 2025* Todo llegó en tiempo y forma de diez. ### ⭐ Lack of documentation, support and manageability *by N***E on August 20, 2024* At one point it is great device... it is very convenient to have PoE or PowerCON device hooked up to the network, all DMX cables connected and wired and management PC and soft connected wired or wireless to the same network... Resolute Arena detects it right away, just it assumes for matrix screen and just sends image to it, not for regular lighting controlls... ChamSys MagicQ MQ50 and MQ70 decks also manage to work with it.. When it comes to DMX Workshop - it also easily finds, configured and communicates with it... just whatever you try to assign for Gateway IP, it turns to some unknown address, you can only set IP and Subnet. Nmap network scanner also finds it, but declares all 65K ports are set to ignore state, so there is no response from this device to any ports - which becomes an issue if you try to use it with ADJs CompuShow, MyDMX3 or MyDMX5 apps... CR041R has to be first configured in Hardware manager and there you have port 2431 (6454 usual for ArtNet) and password fields and neither leaving them blank or using admin or some standard ones work... As mentioned, device itself works, some apps and tools manage to work with it but based of country of origin, site has only "Support" for sales and doesn't give a S for tech support - no documentation or firmware download, nor online support...
