This is the best and safest blade I have used. Have never cut myself with this blade and it gives a lovely smooth shave. The blade has lasted 3 months too. **Q: Is the protector 3 handle compatible with hydro 3 blades?** A: I would say no , I've looked at them and they are different. You need to order Wilkinson Sword Protector 3 Blades. **Q: is it disposable** A: They are not "disposable" by design, it is intended to keep the razor and change the blades using a refill pack. These are available in 4 or 8 packs. If you want to throw them away each time it will become a bit expensive for you, but we have a fair amount of these in stock ! **Q: I have an old protector with 2 blades.
