It is relatively easy to get the temperature up and above 350 degrees centigrade using hardware and at that point you start to get he magic pizza crusts. The family all agreed that the pizzas were as good as anything we had eaten in a restaurant. This does not mean that the solution is perfect (even if the results are excellent). The BBQ loses heat very quickly so I need to refill with more hardwood for every pizza I wanted to cook - I therefore started wondering why this had not been built with some kind of door which could be closed to retain the heat. It should be relatively easy for a company to build a great pizza and bread baking attachment for the BBQ. It would be made out of the same material (black steel and enamel) and would have a larger door at the front which opens to insert bread / pizza. It probably should be higher - perhaps twice as high as this attachment. But would I recommend this to my friends and other buyers - yes definitely until a beter product becomes available.
