Their blades tend to be sharper than others. This is a trimmer I bought exclusively to line my beard, before I used a foil trimmer to get a neat finish on the rest of my face. However, the blades were sharp enough that I didn't really need to use a foil trimmer, as this does the job to 90% of the level anyway.
